Apply Online Ration Card - Arunachal Pradesh


Arunachal Pradesh also known as the land of rising sun shares common boundaries with many countries. Talking about online services then Arunachal Pradesh Government has started providing some of the basic facilities/services through online portals (much needed to be done at this end).

Ration card is one such utility. Arunachal Government allows you to apply for ration card online and perform some other activities online. Here we will look at all the things that Government has automated so far (in context to ration card only).

Apply Online Ration Card in Arunachal Pradesh

You can download ration card application form directly from the website. Do follow below mentioned steps to get online ration card in Arunachal:

• Download the online Ration Card Form from here

• Fill in all the details. It will ask for basic details like applicant’s name, father’s name. complete address, family detail, some declarations and few other common details.

• Please attach all the required documents along with your application form

• Submit the application at your nearby PDS office

You will have to pay minimal ration card processing fee (Rs. 5-45) alongside the application form. Once done, you will have to wait for like 7-5 days for getting the printed ration card. In the meantime invigilator from concerned department will visit your given address to verify all the details. In case you are applying for some modifications then you need to submit surrender certificate or deletion certificate from the previous place of residence.

Please note that application needed to be submitted by head of family. He/she will also need to submit 2 copies of passport size photo along with proof of residence.

Duplicate Ration Card in Arunachal Pradesh

In case you have lost your rasan card (or whatever may be the case) and are looking for issuing a duplicate card then you will have to submit new application along with the affidavit stating the loss of ration card and card fee. Concerned authority will issue the duplicate ration card after validating the details that you gave in the affidavit.

Till now I haven’t seen any provision to tack status of ration card in Arunachal so you will have to track it through offline sources only. I hope government will soon start the online tracking as well. It will help applicants in big way.
